Dear Parents and Guardians,

We're thrilled to invite your child to participate in our upcoming 5v5 Caged Soccer Gala Day sports event! To make the registration process as simple as possible, we've introduced an exciting team creation feature that allows parents or coaches to register their child and invite friends and family members of the same age to join the team.

How It Works:

Step 1: Team Creation

• As a parent or coach, you'll be the team creator. Register your child for the event and create your team and give it a name.
• You'll receive a unique registration code that you can share with friends and family members of the same age.

Step 2: Inviting Team Members

• Share the registration code with your child's friends, family, or teammates who fall within the same age category.
• They can click on join team and add their child's details and make the registration payment of $55.

Age Division Breakdown:

• Under 10s: Participants should have turned 10 or be under 10 (e.g., 9 years old). 5 players on the field including keeper, minimum 7 players to play
• Under 12s: Eligible for those who are 12 years old or under 12 (e.g., 11 years old). 5 players on the field including keeper, minimum 7 players to play
• Under 14s: For children who have turned 14 or are under 14 (e.g., 13 years old). 5 players on the field including keeper, minimum 7 players to play
• Under 16s: Participants should have turned 16 or be under 16 (e.g., 15 years old).5 players on the field including keeper, minimum 7 players to play
• Under 18s: Open to those who have turned 18 or are under 18 (e.g., 17 years old).5 players on the field including keeper, minimum 7 players to play

Gala Day Details:

• There will be six teams in each age division.
• Each team will play a maximum of five games, followed by a final match for the teams that finish 1st and 2nd.
• The winning team will receive a prize of $500 and trophies.
• We will follow official Futsal rules, using official-sized balls for the junior divisions.

• It is essential that each player or team is supervised by a parent or coach, as there will be no on-site supervision provided during the event, as it is a competitive competition.
• It is the duty of the parent/coach to ensure teams arrive on time for game time
• All matches are played on one field all day for each division, avoiding confusion and allowing teams to watch others teams in their divisions and have adequate rest time

• Team Size on Field: 5 players (including goalkeeper)

   

• Subs: Unlimited rolling substitutions (can happen anytime, when there is a stop in play i.e such as a foul or goal being scored)

   

• Minimum 7 players to are required register to play

   

• You can have a total of 9 player’s max

   

• Games are in an open caged artificial turf where there are no outs- it is continuous play for 15mins (subs are essential)

   

• Studs are compulsory
